Jagged Alliance - 6/10
J.A. is one of the better command simulation games. It
has a skewed 3D top view to command your troops. The
weapons and equipment are limited and ammo is hard to
come by. There are various upgrades, but nothing
special.
You are able to hire mercenaries with different skills and abilities to help you defeat an evil boss. The problem is that better mercenaries are only available when you prove your worth as a commander. You have to be
careful about hiring and firing your mercenaries.
Different personalities conflict with each other and the
union frowns upon mass firing, causing other mercenary to
quit. The storyline and game play is above average, but the combat can get repetitive.
With Jagged Alliance 2 coming out soon, with web based mercenaries and better graphics, this hit can only get better.
